I’m Not Your Typical Coach, But I’m Just What You Need
I’m Titus “Coach” Florence and I overcame adversity in my own life to go from walk-on to stand-out as a former Professional Indoor Football Player. 

Growing up as a kid, I was always considered one of the strongest, fastest and most athletic kid in the neighborhood. I would be the first kid picked to play football, basketball, soccer, and hell, even in a game of team tag. 

Everything was great until I stopped growing in my mid teens. So much for my NBA and NFL dreams!
I did play D1 college football – for a while - until personal and family problems momentarily cut my college career short.

But I turned things around, went back to college, got back in shape, and learned how to help others as a personal trainer.

After I figured out my family situation, I decided its time to get back on the gridiron.

Two years of community college and intense 6 days a week training!
It all paid off, when I transferred to Truman State University, and walked-on their football program as a Linebacker.

A position I never played before, but they LOVED my athleticism and tenacity.

Upon graduation, I coached high school football while working a crappy Personal Trainer job.

But I let myself go and ended up ballooned up to 250 pounds of flab.

A previous coach sent me a message about playing Indoor football. It was time to get back to work!

I dropped the weight, got back into playing shape, and I have kept it off since.

My message is simple: If I can do it, so can you. And if you’re out of shape right now, I can empathize (in a “tough love” kinda way) because:

I’m not a psycho coach who yells at you. But I don’t believe in sugar-coating things, either. I can and will call you out, if need be, to get you back on track. So you might call me a no BS coach.

It’s all about trust and respect and it cuts both ways. I will always listen. I will ask questions to get a better understanding of a situation, so I can deliver the best coaching program. 

I expect you to listen and be open to my coaching even if it goes against previous experience or thoughts.
